Fans of The Simpsons have been calling for the revival of the GTA-like release The Simpsons Hit & Run for many years now.

The co-showrunner previously said a lot of "corporate octopus" stand in the way, but it looks like something might finally be happening. At a D23 panel this week, creator Matt Groening may have revealed a big announcement ahead of schedule.
