<p><strong>Pokémoar?</strong></p> <p>It's Saturday, lovely people, and we're back after another packed week in the world of video games!</p> <p>Well, it wasn't too packed, Nintendo-wise, but it still felt busy as <a href="https://www.nintendolife.com/games/nintendo-switch-2/pokemon-pokopia">Pokopia</a> continues to dominate the Switch-2-dom, and Nintendo itself just casually dropped a firmware update with a new <a href="https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2026/03/psa-switch-2-update-adds-handheld-mode-boost-heres-how-to-use-it">Handheld Boost Mode</a> feature that <em>immediately</em> had us clearing memory space to redownload and test a bunch of Switch 1 classics. Nintendo Remains Tight-Lipped About Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Future

PSA: Switch 2's "GameChat Welcome Offer" Ends This Month, Try It Out For Free While You Still Can

<p><strong>Have you used it yet?</strong></p> <p>When the Switch 2 arrived last June, Nintendo introduced a <a href="https://www.nintendolife.com/guides/nintendo-switch-2-gamechat-guide-how-does-it-work">special "Welcome Offer" for GameChat</a>, which allowed users to access these features for free for a "limited-time".</p> <p>As we get closer to the end of March, it means there's now just over a week left to try out these features without having to pay to access them (<a class="external" href="https://nintendoeverything.com/its-your-last-chance-to-use-gamechat-for-free-on-nintendo-switch-2/">thanks for the reminder, Nintendo Everything</a>). After <strong>31st March 2026</strong>, you'll need to purchase a Nintendo Switch Online membership.
