Splatoon lore is deep as the ocean.
If you're into your Splatoon lore, perhaps one of the highlights of the recent Splatoon 3 Direct presentation was the confirmation Murch the sea urchin would be returning. He also appears to be a bit older, and well... it's technically been five years since he first made his appearance in Splatoon 2.
Anyway, Murch's growth spurt hasn't been overlooked on social media - with many Inklings and Octolings noting this as one of the highlights of the latest Direct. One tweet making this observation has already generated more than 26K likes on Twitter:
