Rumour: Super Mario Remasters To Be Announced This Month, But Won't Launch On Mario's 35th

3D World for Switch might slip into 2021, too.

Mario turns 35 this year (the NES original hit Japan on September 13th, 1985), but it would seem that the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has scuppered the plans Nintendo had to celebrate this milestone.

As has been reported by numerous sources, the company is working on a Switch collection which includes remastered versions of Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy, and there are plans to produce a special edition of Super Mario 3D World for the console, too.
