Sega's President Has Just Resigned For "Personal Reasons"

Kenji Matsubara had been in charge since 2017.

Sega's parent company Sega Sammy Holdings has revealed that its president and chief publishing officer Kenji Matsubara has resigned from the firm due to "personal reasons."

Prior to joining Sega, Matsubara had been CEO of Koei Tecmo for 9 years; he later joined the Japanese arm of Zynga, which is famous for its casual games.
