Celebrating Pokémon Day 2020.
To celebrate this year's Pokémon Day, from now until the 2nd March, Mewtwo and the Kanto region starters will be appearing in Max Raid Battles in Pokémon Sword and Shield. Gigantamax Grimmsnarl, Kingler, Hatterene, Orbeetle and Toxtricity will also show up from time to time.
As exciting as this may sound, unfortunately, you won't be able to catch Mewtwo. While we're sure many trainers would love to stockpile this particular pocket monster, it won't be possible during this limited-time Wild Area event. Instead, you'll receive a bunch of rewards every time you defeat it.
