Loring Lee, CEO of Chinese developer Dragonest, has told fans that Auto Chess will be coming to a Switch near you in 2020. Lee made the announcement at a fan event in Toyko and according to Gematsu's translation of an article on PC Watch, he's keen to get new players involved in the super popular online strategy game.
Beginning life as an auto-battling mod for Valve's Dota 2, the original mod was a huge success which caused Valve themselves to jump on the auto-battling bandwagon with Dota Underlords, and other developers have been following suit. The standalone version of the original Auto Chess (without the Dota branding) is already available on mobile devices and is scheduled for PC (via the Epic Store) this year, but that version will now be joined by a Switch release (as well as PS4) next year.
