The original creator of the survival crafting game Minecraft will be excluded from the title's 10-year anniversary celebrations due to his controversial comments and opinions, according to Microsoft.

Since Marcus "Notch" Persson sold Minecraft to Microsoft for $2.5 billion back in 2014, the tech giant has released the game on as many platforms as possible and unified platforms with the "Better Together" update. Microsoft and the developer Mojang both want to maintain the game's friendly image as well.
