It's brought us news that <strong><a href="https://www.nintendolife.com/games/nintendo-switch/animal_crossing_new_horizons">Animal Crossing: New Horizons</a></strong> has <a href="https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2021/02/animal_crossing_leads_switch_software_sales_with_19_4_million_copies_sold_in_the_last_9_months">sold over 31 million copies</a> and how the Switch has finally <a href="https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2021/02/nintendo_switch_has_overtaken_3ds_lifetime_sales_in_just_four_years">overtaken the 3DS' lifetime sales</a>. Commendable sales numbers, without question, but some of you may be wondering; how are the financial figures looking?</p> <p>For the nine months ending on December 31st 2020, Nintendo revealed it has already reached its annual net sales target, taking in ¥1.4 trillion / $13.4 billion. That's a 37% increase on 2019's equivalent period and overseas sales made up three-quarters of this, with Japan accounting for 22.4%. EA Has Quietly Reduced Burnout Paradise Remastered's Price On Switch

<p><strong>Now available at a 40% reduction.</strong></p> <p>We had a lot of fun with EA's <a href="https://www.nintendolife.com/games/nintendo-switch/burnout_paradise_remastered"><strong>Burnout Paradise Remastered</strong></a> last year. Awarding it <a href="https://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/nintendo-switch/burnout_paradise_remastered">7/10 stars</a>, it still offers a solid open-world racing game but – outside of some handheld mode issues – one of our biggest gripes with this Switch port was the high price.</p> <p>Charging £44.99 / $49.99 for a 12-year-old game seemed rather heavy, so we're quite pleased to see that EA has quietly updated this.
